The new 312-foot (95-meter) motoryacht O’PARI
The new 312-foot (95-meter) motoryacht O’PARI was recently revealed in a celebratory reception for her successful delivery. Builder Golden Yachts was on hand at the ceremony along with the Owner’s party, the project team, the yacht crew, the shipyard staff and the Charter Managers of Atalanta Golden Yachts. The Hellenic Minister of Tourism, the Minister of Shipping and Island Policy and the Minister of Development and Investment of Greece, among other political figures, also attended the ceremony.
Paris Dragnis, chairman and founder of Golden Yachts, says, “You cannot aim for new horizons until you have the courage to leave known shores. Golden Yachts is responsible for the 279-foot (85-meter) O’PTASIA and the 184-foot (56-meter) O’MATHILDE. O’PARI is the 14th in line in the shipyard’s fleet. “Our aim is to build yachts like this; imagine them in Greek waters, the birthplace of naval mastery, their every detail taken care of with the utmost perfectionism. “Currently, we are undergoing the construction of a 289-foot (88-meter) M/Y named PROJECT X. Measuring approximately 3,000 GRT with a beam of 48-feet (14.8 meters), it is expected to be delivered in spring of 2022. Golden Yachts has established a solid track record, with a fleet size that is still growing and improving and is also in the planning stage of several other major projects including three 239-foot (73-meter) yachts.”- John Dragnis

With a beam of 45-feet (13.8 meters) and a generous 9 and ½ feet ( 2.9-meters) internal height (deck to deck) and measuring 2.700GRT, she is voluminous and spacious. A bright, sporty look combines high speeds with environmentally friendly construction, keeping fuel consumption at a minimum. The Rome-based Interior studio of Giorgio and Stefano Vafiadis, with its lifelong collaboration with the Golden Yachts shipyard, has guided the design, lines and interior aesthetics.
Large open spaces blur the boundaries between indoors and out, providing an open plan that can be enjoyed throughout the day, through contrasts of shadow and light. Large aft decks offer space for a touch-and-go helipad in the forward Upper Deck, while the open-space sundeck sets the scene for a party with a DJ booth, a fully furnished bar, a panoramic-view Jacuzzi and vast lounge areas. The holistic experience is enhanced by a candle-lit massage room, warm Turkish hammam and dry Finnish sauna.

Art to Sea – on board O’PARI.
Golden Yachts' Vasilis Dragnis, in collaboration with the Athens-based art advisor Anna Chatzinasiou, founder of Ach Art Advisory, created an important Art Collection which features nearly 70 original artworks, some of which have been especially commissioned for O’PARI. All have been created by contemporary artists from all around the world, including some of the most notable artists of the Greek art scene, who expressed themselves through painting, photography, in situation installations and sculptures. The concept of the Art Collection is based on O’PARI’s unique design and philosophy which relates to the relationship between man and nature, as well as naval architecture and seascapes.
