Making Waves: Zuccon’s New Family Concept

Design House Presents 90-Meter Superyacht

The next generation of the Zuccon design family recently founded Zuccon Superyacht Design (Zuccon SYD), a group within Zuccon International Project that specializes in large-yacht projects. In spring, Bernardo Zuccon and Zuccon SYD released a concept for a 295-foot (90-meter) yacht with a focus on the outdoors and the inclusion of greenhouses and winter gardens. This four-deck, steel-and-aluminum yacht places the six guest cabins on the main deck with the living room, cinema and bar. Dining areas, alfresco lounges and all owner areas have been moved up for additional privacy, even when docked. Integration between the interior and exterior seem to be key in this design, evidenced by the teak floor and system of sliding glass walls surrounding the dining area on the upper deck. When pushed back, this area transforms from an enclosed formal space to a more relaxed alfresco dining area.
