Introduced by Viking at the same time as the Princess 64, the Princess 72 has a resin-infused deep-V hull, raised bulwarks and clean-flowing lines, plus four staterooms and a crew cabin. The open plan of the main deck is designed with entertaining in mind, but when needed the galley can be divided from the salon with a glass screen. Belowdecks, four cabins—including the full-beam master suite amidships—accommodate eight passengers. The aft deck provides more outdoor seating, and there is also a sunbathing spot on the bow. A hydraulically controlled swim platform helps launch and retrieve a small tender or PWC. Two CAT C32A engines come standard.
