Rhode Island-based Hunt Yachts will display one of its new 44s. Launched earlier this year, the first hull is highly personalized to her owners’ tastes, something Hunt offers on all of its boats. Designed by C. Raymond Hunt Associates with a deep-V hull, this twin-diesel express cruiser includes joystick handling with computerized dynamic positioning and IPS pod-drive propulsion with Volvo 600 series common rail diesels. The arrangement of the pod system opened up a good deal of extra space. In Hull No. One, this space is a utility room with wine cellar, trash compactor and storage lockers. The ensuite, queen-berth master stateroom is forward and the galley on the port side faces the guest stateroom or dinette. Maximum speed ranges from 27 knots with standard power to 31 knots with optional power.
