Fort Lauderdale 2012: Austin Parker 42 Open

Austin Parker’s recognizable style is obvious in the AP42 Open, a compact hull that can easily serve as a tender to a large yacht or a cabin cruiser in its own right. The main deck has a spacious open-air aft deck leading into the salon/dining area with full galley and helm station.

Austin Parker’s recognizable style is obvious in the AP42 Open, a compact hull that can easily serve as a tender to a large yacht or a cabin cruiser in its own right. The main deck has a spacious open-air aft deck leading into the salon/dining area with full galley and helm station. Stairs take guests under the forward sun pad where they’ll find a salon, dayhead and forward master cabin. On request, an additional twin cabin can replace the salon. While the layouts of the interior remain the same, owners can choose the Open or Sport models. The Open—which will be on display in Fort Lauderdale—provides glass enclosure on three sides while the Sport comes with a removable bimini. Guests can access the tender garage through a hydraulic transom door.
