Commissioned by an American client introduced to Rossinavi by Javier Navarro of Zarpo Yachts, Piacere’s exterior design is by Viareggio-based Horacio Bozzo Design.
And the winners are...
Skies were gray and it was drizzling, but even the chilly rain could not dampen spirits at the Rossinavi shipyard in Viareggio, Italy, on February 11, 2013. That day, the yard’s 600-ton travel lift gently laid Vellmarì, its 156-foot (48-meter) Ketos series yacht, into the water.
Market contraction notwithstanding, 2012 has been a most interesting year in the yachting world. It is difficult to cover all that has happened in a few pages, but we attempted to bring you a snapshot. Our wandering editors highlighted a few of the noteworthy happenings of the past 12 months, which may lead to yet more exciting things soon to come.
You may remember that earlier this year we presented you with “a splendid surprise” from Viareggio-based Rossinavi. The superyacht Numptia has a fantastic interior by Achille Salvagni and styling by Tommaso Spadolini. Spadolini also collaborated with Rossinavi on the beautiful 148-foot (45-meter) Aslec 4.
