Yacht brokerage and management firm Ocean Independence hosted a glittering event April 25 at the Mall Galleries in London to celebrate the America’s Cup and the Louis Vuitton Cup. The event, dubbed “Legends in London,” brought the two most coveted trophies in sailing together.
On Apr. 25, London will play host to two awards that are not often seen in the same location: The America’s Cup and the Louis Vuitton Cup. During an event organized by Ocean Independence and sponsored in part by Yachts International, guests will be able to view the two prestigious cups while enjoying cocktails.

On August 21, 2013 the requirements introduced by the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (MLC) come into force. MLC will affect all commercial shipping, including commercial yachts. While yachts under 200 gross tons may not have to comply with all the MLC requirements, this decision has been left up to the yacht’s relevant flag state.
Designed by Murray and Associates and constructed at the Florida-based Lauderdale Marine Center, Just Enough snuck into the water this year to make her Fort Lauderdale debut under Ocean Independence’s flag.
