Beginning spring 2013, Sevenstar Yacht Transport will begin regular sailings to Porto Montenegro in the Bay of Kotor. Known for dramatic coastlines and tax-free bunkering, Montenegro has grown in popularity as a yachting destination in recent years. Upgraded improvements in the legal system and infrastructure and mild year-round climate has made the spot even more attractive. Close to airports in Tivat, Dubrovnik, and Podgorica, there is easy access to most European destinations from the area. The marina itself has been designed to cater to luxury private and charter vessels. It has over 200 berths and is working on an expansion due to be completed in 2014. With the addition of Porto Montenegro to Sevenstar’s stops in Palma de Mallorca and Genoa, the company now offers stops on the western, central and eastern ends of the Mediterranean.
