Abaco Beach Resort’s Signature Fishing Series
Looking for some fishing and a little competition this month? The Abaco Beach Resort is hosting the Signature Series fishing tournament. Both legs of this tournament will be held at Boat Harbor and approximately $175,000 in cash prizes will be awarded. The first leg is only a couple weeks away—Apr. 24 to 27—with the second leg coming a month later—May 22 to 25.
Entry fees are $6,000 per leg or $10,000 for the series. A portion of the funds raised during the tournament will benefit Every Child Counts and Friends of the Environment.

Novurania Condenses operations to offer more options
There have been big changes recently within Novurania, the renowned RIB builder. The company has consolidated its retail sales division Esprit Nautics into its Vero Beach, Fla. manufacturing facility to reflect its increased focus on custom tenders. “We go far beyond just offering different colors now and our manufacturing operation here can answer the call for all kind of custom features,” says CEO Robert Collada. Recently, designer Elisabetta Pianta (founder of Studio 28 Luxury Design) joined the engineering team. Her experience with architecture, naval architecture and interior design will help Novurania incorporate client’s specifications into its increasing number of custom projects.

New Sales office and area manager for Benetti Middle East
Benetti, celebrating its 140th anniversary this year, continues its international expansion. The company’s newest office outside of Italy will be in Dubai. Nabil el Jammal will manage the office, which will handle both the yachting and commercial segments for most Middle Eastern markets, including Turkey, Lebanon and Egypt.
