Oops! 131-foot Superyacht Drops After Crane Malfunction

Talk about hard to watch! In this breaking-news video shot by a Panama local, a seemingly regular offload takes a critical turn for the worst when the crane’s pulley system snaps unexpectedly. The unfortunate victim is 131-foot (40-meter) Tecnomar Nadara Low Profile, which was launched just last year.

All-aluminum 131-foot (40-meter) Low Profile by Admiral Tecnomar offers accommodations for up to 10 guests in 5 staterooms, including a full-beam master suite located forward on the main deck. She features a spacious main salon, which includes the use of precious fabrics, a marble-topped bar, a large handmade dining table for up to 10 people with a glass backlit panel set in the center, mirrored ceilings with brass inserts and crystal light fittings.

She can reach a top speed of over 26 knots, although preferably moving forward—not downward.
