Yachts Miami Beach 2017 Dining Guide

Hungry? Here’s where to find great food along the Indian Creek Waterway and at the Island Gardens Deep Harbour marina on Watson Island.

Shopping for your next boat is an exhilarating and an exhausting proposition. All that dock-walking, flybridge-climbing and engine room-diving can make a person very hungry. Finding food at boat show often becomes as important a mission as finding your dream boat. Are we going for a quick burger and a beer or are we looking for respite and a recap with red snapper and rosé?

The good news is, Yachts Miami Beach on Collins Avenue has many options within the gates of the show: concession stands with hot dogs, sausages, Greek souvlaki, Philly cheese steaks and burgers. In the beverage department, you’ll find fruit smoothies and frozen lemonade stands and, of course, plenty of beer and cocktails.

This year, there will be no food stands along the sidewalk adjacent to the docks as all concession stands are located within the show itself. Tables and chairs are available for picnicking from the food stands. For a more upscale eatery, you can purchase a VIP Experience, which is available February 16-18 aboard the Grand Floridian docked within the show. This VIP hospitality boat offers complimentary gourmet food and beverages during show hours along with other concierge amenities such valet parking, special access to yachts, or even a relaxing massage. Many dining options are available outside the show gates: at the excellent hotels across Collins Avenue from the show; on nearby 41st Street; and at The Deck restaurant on Watson Island where some of the largest yachts in the show are berthed.
